MACHINE QUILTING FRAME for Home Quilter...Early
Christmas Gift
INSPIRA QUILT FRAME for the home quilter. This is a 5 ft. wide sturdy
frame and is in excellent condition. Sorry, it does not extend to 10 ft.
Perfect for baby size, twin size or lap quilts. It is designed to be
used with the Pfaff Grand Quilter and the Brother PQ 1500 but is
compatible with several other machines. It has new bracing clips for
fabric and new leader fabric attached to the rollers and has a laser
stylus and shelf to use with pantograph patterns. There is a set of
handy handles that come with to be used as necessary depending on the
machine you have. I barely used this and really would like to find a
home soon where this will be utilized more. I need the space. I also
have 3 new quilt books to be used with this setup.....worth $75....will
sell all 3 for $45. Treat yourselves to an EARLY CHRISTMAS GIFT! All
SERIOUS inquiries, please call 425-870-7332.
One of ladies at my church is
looking for someone who can do handquilting on an old antique quilt
that one of her relatives found. Let me know who and how much
she/he will charge. Thank you.
A co-worker of mine asked me
if I knew someone who could service an industrial Singer sewing
machine. This would need to be an on-site service as these machines are
quite large and each component: machine, table, and motor all weigh at
least 100 lbs apiece. Anyone out there know someone who services these
types of machines?
We usually have two day camps a year. The
fall BZB Day Camp, needs a chairperson for fall day camp 2008. That person will need
to find those willing to teach a class, or do a demo. The
church needs to be reserved, opened and arrangements or special
things planned (meals). You'll gather people who will help you
with everything. The chairperson(s) are hard to find, but the
other help, and instructors are not!! Consider doing this for
the guild. This is such a great opportunity for those skilled
in the arts of quilting to teach, lead, guide those with less skills
or different skills.
The spring day 2008 camp will be chaired by
Margaret Bridge, Connie McInnis, and Carla Schoonover.
