2.  You will wash, dry and iron each of the three fabrics.
3.  Then cut
one 6" square of each of the three fabrics for each person
signed up for the exchange that month, including yourself.
4.  Machine baste, pin, or otherwise - each set of three 6" square sets together, attaching your name to each one of the sets
5.  Put all the sets in a baggie with your name on the outside.
6.  Take them to the next BZB monthly meeting, give them to Jo at the monthly Busy Bee meeting.  She will divide the sets.
7.  During break or after the meeting collect your bag back, and you'll have the same number of complete sets back, but they'll all be different, except for one!
8.  Don't forget to sign up for the next month.

It's fun, and there are so many Charm Quilts that you can make from these 6" squares.  I've given you a copy of one example of a quilt using small squares of fabric below. McCalls Quilting.

    September Fabric Exchange: ????

I'll let you know when I know.

    High Quality Fabrics Only

6" fabric squares

THE MATH     (or the guessing!)

You will get 6 - six inch squares to each strip of 40" fabric, that's after shrinkage.

To figure the needed yardage, divide the number of participants by 6.

For each group of 1- 6 participants, you'll need one strip 6" wide by 40" or more.

About 6 1/4" by the full width of fabric before shrinkage.  It never washes and dries straight, so get more than you think you need, so you can cut a straight edge and still have enough to cut your squares.

For a group of 7-12 you'll need two strips of each fabric....excreta...

*************************************************************
Examples (for 42-45" wide fabric):

25 participants:  25/6=4.167, round up to 5, 5x6"=30"+2" for shrinkage=32"

38 participants:  38/6=6.3, round up to 7, 7x6"=42"=3=45" or 1 & 1/4 yard minimum.
