ATTENTION!

Busy Bee's Quilt Show has a New LOCATION and DATE!

"COUNTRY CHARM"

We're sorry you missed our Quilt Show, we will have our next Quilt Show June 2009!

Busy Bee's 27th Annual Quilt Show in 2008,Charm Block examples. "Country Charm" was the theme.  Charm quilts are made up of pieces that are all the same size and shape, optimally no fabric used more than once. Also "Country Charm" can refer to the style and colors of the quilt.  At the 2008 BZB Quilt Show were many example of "Country Charm".

Our 2009 show will again be at the quaint and picturesque Craven Farms in Snohomish, WA. Where you will see  quilts seemingly hung from the rafters and rough wall boards of the barns, some are hung outside to blow gently in the country breeze. There are generally about 160+ quilts, traditional pieced, appliqué, wearable art, long-arm, short arm and hand quilting, challenge quilts, Doll quilts.  Help make a Gracie Quilt block, color a block that will be added to a quilt for sick children and their families.  There are various demonstrations and so much more. We always have a beautiful raffle quilt that you can see at the show and also on line: .......................

There are more than a dozen vendors housed in the stalls, including some from out of state and more of the "on-liners" that you can't visit every day, come and see and feel their products up close and personal. Cravens offers hot dogs with chips and fresh strawberry short cake to good to resist, at their concession stand. They also host many other activities, you'll have to visit their website to see what's planned. It's sure to be a day out for the whole family!

The 2007 Busy Bee Quilt Show is now behind us!

It was a fabulous show, thanks to everyone’s hard work, amazing talent & willingness to put time into this show.  The quilts were hung beautifully & really looked spectacular hanging in the barns. We have so many amazing & talented quilters in our guild that it is awe-inspiring to see them hung for viewing— thanks to all of you who entered quilts, & other items!

If you have any helpful suggestions we'd really like to hear them.  Please sign our guest book with any thoughts you have on what worked well and what could use improvement.
